New Dawn is a mobile, specialized medical facility for women.

What services do you offer?
Answer:
We offer a urine pregnancy test and, with a positive result, we can check the viability and gestational age by ultrasound. Our clients also receive a medical consultation with the nurse and resource assistance.

Is there a fee for the services?
Answer:
No, all of our services are provided free of charge.

Question:
Why have an ultrasound?
Answer:
If you are at least six (6) weeks into your pregnancy, we can see if there is a viable heartbeat. Almost 50% of first time pregnancies end in miscarriage. The ultrasound can also give the correct gestational age.

Question:
Do I need an appointment?
Answer:

No, we do not require an appointment however; please note at several of the locations, we are partnering with another organization that does set up appointments for us. We will work you into the schedule, but realize that you may be required to wait.

Do I need to do anything before I arrive?
Answer:

Please drink plenty of water before coming for your ultrasound.


Question:
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Answer: Please bring a drivers license or a valid form of ID if you will be requiring a verification of pregnancy suitable for Medicaid, food stamps or WIC.

How is an ultrasound done?
Answer: The ultrasound image is provided by sound waves like sonar that sends a picture to a monitor.
